It is often said that being a parent is one of the more difficult jobs out there. This is so true because teens are complex as are becoming young adults who have their own opinions and points of view on things. Then, when is the right time, share your opinions in a manner not judgmental.
Be honest:Learn to be up front and honest with your teen about how it feels. one thing kids want more than anything is to be treated as an adult and be honest with them is one way to do this. The key is that you learn to convey your opinions in a manner that is not critical or crenelated angrily.
Be respectful:Parents are really bad not to give their children the respect they expect their teenagers to show them. If you expect your boy to be respectful to you, then you must learn to treat him or her so well. Respect is something that has earned, by children and adults.
Be support:While you may not agree with every idea that has your teen, be favorable to them.If you want to improve the relationship you have with your teen, then you must show them that are always "in their corner."When they try something and not, don't say "I told you so."Instead, say something like, "Is because your best shot, maybe next time will work best for you."
Leave your teen how to user:It is understandable that you want to run whenever you feel that your teen is having a problem with friends or school, wait for them to come to you. teens are known for being stubborn and if they sense that are pushing for information, they will most likely closed out. However, if you give them their space and let them know that are available when you are ready, they will be more likely to come to you for advice.
