In my education professional, I visit schools our children every day. In the walls of these elementary, intermediate and high schools, I had the pleasure of meeting as many young girls. As a mother of three boys, I have additional opportunities to observe and learn about their female friends of different ages for example. I am often surprised by the intelligence, kindness, creative, energetic spirit of these girls. At the same time, I am deeply disturbed.
Never in the history of our daughters was thus exposed to external influences.Previously, influences a girl came mainly in the community home and locale.Maintenant, with astronomical explosion of technology and our dependence, our girls are flooded message from outside.
Unfortunately, most messages are negative or have negative effects on the minds of our girls.In this technological age, our girls are being socialisées by these messages and it may be impossible to development distinguish between healthy messages messages malsains.Le time has come to resume our girls. It is time to collectively to cancel these messages as the spirit of drain and replace them with hope, lights and accountability.
How is it possible? By your participation! By being aware of the realities in the world of your youth. Have conversations with your teenager. Recognize and discuss the media messages they receive. Ask your teenager how they think they are influenced by these messages.Let them know your perspective and highlight some ideas they may not have thought. make sure that this discussion occurs naturally, rather than the style of the Conference. You can open a dialog by watching the tv set. Discuss advertisements.
Be aware of the tv shows that your teenager monitors regularly. Realistic, you can restrict some performances in your own home, but don't forget that your control extends not outside of your home. As always, be realistic. Discuss some popular shows or channels, such as MTV. Acknowledge that while you understand what they watch these shows or channels, you agree with their messages. Clearly explain what you disagree with.Although your adolescent may roll their eyes and act as they do care about your opinion; find out what they font.Il is much better in order to understand your views. Silence is generally interpreted as agreement so be sure to express your point of view. Just make sure it is done in a manner not daunting.Conversationally, is the key; otherwise, you risk triggering of a rebel mindset.
Collectively, as a family and a community, we can grow girls, adolescents and young women that reflect our values.It takes a village to resume our girls.We will develop a generation informed the young femme.Il must simply awareness, effort and commitment.
